As of this week, WWE Superstars no longer airs on cable TV in Chicago. WGNTV Chicago (or the CW) used to play the show on Sunday mornings at 11 AM Central (which is obviously not the normal Thursday night, but at least it was available). However, it is not airing this morning and is not currently scheduled to air again. The show also does not appear on WGN Chicago’s list of shows on their website.
WGNAmerica, where the show still airs on Thursday nights and on Sunday mornings, is only available on satellite TV in the Chicago area.
I haven’t been able to find any explanation for this on WGNTV’s website or by doing a quick Google search. Apparently the show is just…gone.
The show is available on hulu.com, http://www.hulu.com/wwe-superstars.

I like this site.
I too was waiting for Superstars to come on and it didn’t happen. Not that was excited to see it but I usually watch it while at work. I too live in the Chicago area and it sucks that they don’t air it late Thursday nights like they should.
Anyway, like the wrestling articles you are writing. My site is mainly Bears and Blackhawks but I wrote a few articles on wrasslin’ myself. Check it out. I look forward to more postings that you have.

I think it sucks that WWE Superstars is not WGN Chicago and I would much rather watch WWE Superstars and ECW is gone from Global. I HAVEN’T SEEN ECW FOR TWO WEEKS AND I WAS PISSED THAT I MISSED SUPERSTARS YESTERDAY.

Yes, I have a problem watching ECW as a few years ago the SyFy channel was replaced with the Golf channel by my cable provider.
I emailed WGNChicago and I hope to hear back. There will of course be an update if I do.
