Finally the Triple Threat for the Tag Titles tonight!
The opening was great (though Kelly Kelly really doesn’t need to be a ring announcer). Carl Edwards looked really comfortable in the ring and his reaction when Sheamus came out was good. Christian’s music started and I was like, “Cool, Christian. WAIT.” I do wonder what they’re doing with him…Sheamus’s mic work is a little lame. Christian is hilarious. And making fun of no last names I liked, as well. The match was decent. Sheamus’s finisher terrifies me though. It just seems like so much could go wrong.
Man, they were loud for HHH. I was bummed that Punk and Gallows didn’t win, actually. It’d be interesting to see what they did with them. I’m not totally sure I understand giving Big Show back the belts and giving Miz more, but WWE creative is usually ahead of me. Well, Shawn Michaels is imploding. Not unexpected.
For some reason I feel like Orton hasn’t wrestled in a while, which makes no sense. Anyway. They’ve been teasing the breakup of Legacy for a while now. Wonder if it’s actually happening!
I’ve been liking Cena’s promos a lot lately. A lot of the security guards look little compared to Cena though, haha. I’ve heard speculation of Vince and Batista vs. Cena and Bret Hart at Wrestlemania. That’d be interesting because it gets the feuds going but doesn’t force Vince and Bret to have a full match. Man, Vince knows how to piss people off, it’s great. Thing is, I think it IS all about the money for Vince. Man, I LOVED it when Bret came out. I’m like a little kid again, haha. That’s the perfect way to do it, though, to have him pop out of nowhere. Good stuff, good stuff.
SO glad they’re inducting Ted DiBiase Sr. into the Hall of Fame this year!

My thoughts:
Ted DiBiase is an excellent selection for the Hall of Fame. I assume Ted Jr. will induct him. He’s actually #2. If the rumours are true, Antonio Inoki will be inducted as well. Stan Hansen was to induct him. I just hope this will be the year that Bruiser Brody gets in as well.
What the hell is Vince doing? Now Mizanin has the unified tag title with the Big Show along with the U.S. title. And he got the pin on Michaels on top of it? I blew an artery at that crap. Mizanin?!?!!???
I said it before and I’ll say it again…Michaels vs. HHH at Wrestlemania.
How the hell did Sheamus beat Christian? No better way to bury Christian than to have him lose to the guy on the Lucky Charms box.

RAW finally had a decent show put on. I didn’t tell you this before but usually, I just record all the shows and just fast forward through all of the “bad wrestling” and I would get done in about 45 minutes to an hour for Raw and Smackdown! and be done in about 15 minutes for ECW/Superstars.
Kelly Kelly has no business being a ring announcer either. And most of us clearly see that she had a face lift, nose job, breast implants, etc. It’s clearly a turn off for yours truly. The only woman that is “all-natural” is Maria. Too bad she can’t wrestle though. I have a lot of respect for Beth Phoenix although her arms are bigger than my head. At least she can wrestle though.
Seeing Bret Hart show up was pretty cool. Did you see try to run though by the stage? I said before that it would be an utter disaster if he tried to wrestle. Seeing him run there clearly shows he is out of shape and over the hill.
It will be interesting how these matches and story lines will form after the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View.

I think part of it is that they’re trying to beat Shawn Michaels down as much as they can so he can just keep blowing his lid and do crazier things. Being pinned by Miz would do that.
I could see Jericho going after Miz (and hopefully beating the hell out of him, though I don’t know how they’d handle that), or even Punk and Gallows whining that they didn’t get a fair shot. Hopefully these tag titles will be short lived for this team.
As for Sheamus beating Christian, I expected it. He’s undefeated and there’s a good chance he’ll stay that way into ‘Mania until someone comes and kicks his ass. Of course, I’ve been waiting for that to happen for a while now…I can’t imagine they’d let it hurt Christian too much, though. And who knows, maybe he’ll show up on SmackDown this week, too!
Glad to hear I’m not the only one who thinks Kelly Kelly is slightly gross; with the way they play the plastic ones up so much you start to wonder. I’m a big Beth Phoenix fan, as well, and I wonder what’ll happen…there aren’t a ton of Divas she could really have a good feud with since half of them would just get squashed. Natalya, Mickie James, maybe Michelle McCool…
I did notice Bret Hart being a bit, er, off as well. He had a stroke a couple years ago so that couldn’t have helped things at all. But only time will tell what they’ll do. As I said, even if it doesn’t seem like there’s a plan, the WWE creative writers are always a step ahead of me.

Just watched some videos of Serena wrestle in FCW. She is impressive!! Her vs. Natalya (in the Hart Dynasty/Straight Edge matches I predict) would be good (as would other matches, of course, but who knows if she’ll do singles stuff).

It’s official. Antonio Inoki just accepted his invitation to the HoF. Well deserved honor for him. I do hope Stan Hansen puts him in. Actually, Hansen belongs in the Hall himself. And I still hope Brody somehow gets in too.
